Role Summary/Purpose: | The Risk Process Leader for Margin Review (MR) process will be part of the PGS IM team supporting Risk & Modelling function. GE Energy's PGS business dedicated to optimizing the performance of our customers' plants and equipment. A contractual service agreement, or CSA, provides maintenance, parts, services and repairs, over a specified period of time. This position is responsible for operational excellence & critical business process support like Margin Review (MR) and Continuous Actualization |
Essential Responsibilities: |
Act as process lead / SME for Contract and Risk Modeling process, Simulation techniques, ITO/OTR/Finance and Margin Review Business processes
Work closely with the Business to identify MR related processes, which can be re-engineered before digitizing
Engage in continuous improvement of Risk & Modeling related processes using Six Sigma and LEAN (e.g. error detection, process control, and process design strategies)
Work with multiple teams towards streamlining various reports and analysis tools, identify & eliminate non-value added steps to improve business productivity and assist in accurate, timely and sound decision making
Bridge the gap b/n the business and the support team and be a point of contact for any functional clarifications and work with support teams & businesses to come up with agreed upon workarounds / suggestions
Drive proactive behavior in support teams for monitoring & issue resolutions; prioritize issues for business criticality and escalate issues as necessary; use existing metrics for monitoring issues, and develop others as needed
Lead or participate in planning & execution of Design Reviews, Regression Testing, Production Cutovers, and Post-Production Transition.
Able to perform the modeling / go thru the rigor of MR process to understand the improvement opportunities
Assist in the identification, validation, and analyzing the impact of new features / functionalities in MR process / ICAM application
Connect the dots between business requirement, technology enhancements and maintenance capabilities to develop strategies to maximize support team effectiveness
Quickly and accurately assimilates internal customer business processes, where appropriate, suggests and/or implements more efficient alternatives
Develop and maintain relationships with business partners, project teams, key strategic vendors and peers
Lead the Functional CCB ( Change Control Board ) and drive the Change Management process effectively
Lead the knowledge management initiatives for ICAM IT support team

Qualifications/Requirements: |
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering
6+ years of relevant and progressive experience in the field of Information Technology to address business needs of digitization
3 years of experience in business planning, resource allocation and project management of implementing information technologies
Experience with J2EE, Oracle and integration technologies like ETL, EAI, web services and SOA concepts
Full understanding of change management processes incorporating multiple releases and business teams
Exposure to a service environment, ITIL process
Strong interpersonal, facilitation and communication skills
Capable and influential at program management and business process improvements
EU work permit
