Role Summary/Purpose: | The Solutions Architect (m/f) will be in charge of designing architectures and process optimization plans for operating room (OR) optimization solutions based on High Acuity Care (HAC) software. He/she will support the commercial organizations in Europe during the pre-sales and tender phase. The role will have a particular focus on designing configurations of OR management (ORM) and Clinical Information Management (CIM) solutions to optimize the perioperative workflows in hospitals. |
Essential Responsibilities: |
- In charge of the design of OR Management and Clinical Information Management systems for large tenders across Europe requiring multiple products and complex hardware/software architectures.
- Provides to sales organizations a single interface to all architectural matters.
- Ensures that the workflow is designed to meet customer requirements.
- Provides cost and outcome evaluations for ORM and CIM solutions, focusing on outcome and effectiveness to meet SLAs.
- Drives design to optimize cost.
- In charge of business intelligence and analytics design for hospital and regional projects.
- Accountable for the resilience, quality and performance of solutions.
- Assists sales for documenting and presenting solutions to customers and partners.
- Anticipates on technical issues and risks.
- Provides technical and conceptual assessments for internal deal reviews.
- Provides solution design training/hand-out to delivery teams for implementation.
- Remains updated on hardware and software technologies.
- Develops close relations with local sales organizations and partners/suppliers.
- Works with product experts in HAC, Digital Pathology, Radiology and with internal and external consultants.
- Ensures knowledge transfer to local sales and services organizations.
- Responsible for building re-usable design concepts to lower implementation cost over time.
- Facilitates best practice sharing within EU and with other global regions.

Qualifications/Requirements: |
- Master equivalent in engineering, automation, computer science or comparable
- >5 years' experience in IT based process improvement
- Experience in designing IT architectures for process improvement
- Strong background in Healthcare IT and/ or healthcare process design
- Experience in large project and/or service bids
- Good understanding of Service Level Agreement concepts
- Prior experience in interacting with international customers
- Ability to align job priorities to their strategic value
- Proven ability to deliver on expectations in a remote and diverse environment
- Previous professional exposure to multi-cultural environment
- Excellent team player
- Ability to quickly build and successfully leverage networks across the organization
- Strong sense of responsibility and discipline
- Strong self-drive and eager for results
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language
- Prepared to extensive travel in Europe
- EU work permit
