    U2 en España


    El estadio olímpico de Sevilla sigue con la fecha del 3 de julio de 2008 reservada para un posible concierto de U2 en la ciudad. El anuncio oficial ayer de Barcelona como única parada española de su gira mundial, “no cambia nada”, explican a este periódico fuentes de la negociación, que aseguran que la banda irlandesa “vendrá a Sevilla, ya sea este año, o en el cierre de la gira en 2010”. La fecha, pues, “es lo único que hay que seguir negociando”.

    “Las negociaciones siguen en el mismo punto en el que estaban”. Así de firmes se mostraban ayer en el Estadio Olímpico de Sevilla, que se desayunó ayer con el listado oficial hecho público en la web de U2 de ciudades por las que va a pasar su próxima gira de conciertos, que no incluía a Sevilla, sobre la que se baraja desde hace tres meses la fecha del 3 de julio para el debut de los irlandeses en Sevilla.

    Según el sitio www.U2.com, el Camp Nou volverá a ser el escenario del único concierto de la banda irlandesa en España, el martes 30 de junio, en el que será el punto de partida de la nueva gira del grupo irlandés, U2 360º.

    No obstante, el Estadio Olímpico no quiso "garantizar que Sevilla está en las quinielas y en la pista de salida, lo estaba hasta ayer y lo sigue estando hoy", explicaban ayer a este periódico. Como ya adelantó El Correo, en las negociaciones para traer a U2 a la capital hispalense, los responsables del Estadio manejaban dos posibilidades con Doctor Music, la promotora española de la gira: el próximo 3 de julio, y una fecha sin concretar de 2010. Esto se debe a que el tour tendrá dos vueltas -o dos "mangas", en el argot musical-. Eso sí, a falta de la última confirmación, los canadienses ya han apalabrado con los responsables del Estadio Olímpico la fecha del 3 de julio para una primera vuelta de la gira, que es donde está previsto que se incluya la capital hispalense.

    De no ser así, "una posibilidad mucho más remota", según confirmaron ayer a este periódico fuentes de la negociación, Sevilla seguiría en la lista de ciudades a visitar poa la banda de Dublín, aunque tendría que esperar a la ya citada segunda manga de la gira europea, "y ya estaríamos hablando, casi con toda probabilidad, de 2010".

    La gira mundial de U2 visitará 18 ciudades, 14 en Europa, y el de Barcelona será el único concierto en España, que servirá de presentación del nuevo disco "No Line On The Horizon".

    La página web del grupo desvela que todos los conciertos tendrán una distribución especial, con el escenario en el centro del espacio donde se celebre el concierto, de modo que todos los espectadores puedan tener la misma perspectiva de los miembros del grupo.

    La banda irlandesa ya actuó en el estadio del FC Barcelona ante más de 80.000 espectadores en agosto de 2005, durante el Vértigo Tour, gira en la que los irlandeses también actuaron en San Sebastián y Madrid.

    El Sr. Presidente pondrá en marcha en los próximos días un Plan Nacional de Empleo.

    EL Plan de Emergencia Nacional de Empleo, que será conocido por sus siglas como PENE, tiene por objeto parar la crisis actual reduciendo la plantilla estatal.

    Para que tal reducción se produzca de la forma más justa y equitativa posible, se acelera la jubilación de los empleados de mayor edad, facilitando la retención de los jóvenes a quienes se les confiará el futuro del Estado Nacional. Este mecanismo de selección entrará en vigencia inmediatamente y se llamará Jubilación Obligatoria De Empleados y Trabajadores Estatales (JODETE).

    Los empleados JODIDOS tendrán la oportunidad de buscar otros trabajos dentro del Estado. La única condición para que puedan iniciar la búsqueda, es la de requerir al PENE una autorización para que se revise si su situación laboral es compatible antes de jubilarse.

    Este período de evaluación será llamado Plan Acelerado de Jubilación Anticipada (PAJA).

    Todo empleado que hayan sido JODIDO y esté en PAJA, puede solicitar una revisión final. Esta última fase se denominará Posibilidades Optimas Laborales de Volver a la Organización (POLVO).

    La política del programa estatal establece que los empleados pueden disfrutar de un solo POLVO y de dos PAJAS, pero pueden ser JODIDOS tantas veces como el Gobierno Nacional lo juzgue necesario, por la acción del PENE del Sr. Presidente.

    España vence a Francia



    A pesar de todas las falacias y atropellos de tanto los diarios de Madriz marca y as como de la Federación Española de fútbol. España volvió a ganar, y claro esta que era un amistoso pero era nuestro rival de siempre que junto con Italia nos ha dado tanta noches de bajón, no es otra que la Francia , nuestros vecinos del norte.

    Por una vez les mojamos la oreja, y gracias a dios nos pudimos olvidar de Raúl y Guti que simplemente no estarán, porque no lo merecen. Ya sea por razones futbolisticas o por su caracter chulesco y desafiante.

    Espero que esto sea el principio de un gran final, en el que pasaremos de cuartos, no es que sea amigo del sabio de Hortaleza, Luis Aragones, pero esta claro que nos esta llevando por el buen camino en cuanto al equipo de futbol se refiere y a mi. Es lo que me cunde. Capello tampoco es un tio enrollao pero lleva a los equipos arriba que es lo que todos queremos no?

    Los números de Rajoy

    1. Promesa #1: Empleo.

    Rajoy prometió el 27 de enero de 2007 crear 2.2 millones de empleos en la próxima legislatura. Hay decenas de referencias en Google News (búsqueda: Rajoy empleos), como por ejemplo AFP, ABC o El País.



    2. Promesa #2: Actividad feminina.

    En las mismas noticias (mismos enlaces) se lee otra promesa: elevar para 2011 la actividad femenina al 68%. Según leo en mis datos, el último dato es del 49.37%. Este compromiso y el anterior figuran en la sección correspondiente del necesario wiki Lo prometido es deuda, donde se enlaza también un vídeo (también visible en el anterior enlace de El País).


    3. Promesa #3: Tasa de paro.

    La tasa de paro se bajará al 6.5%. Este párrafo de ABC contiene las tres promesas:

    “El fin del PP es situar la tasa de paro en el 6,5 (actualmente es del 8 por ciento [es del 8.6%]) a finales de 2011, intentado conseguir la convergencia entre las tasas de empleo femenino y masculino. Se trata de crear 2.200.000 empleos (la misma cifra que se ha marcado el presidente del Gobierno) y elevar la actividad femenina hasta el 68 por ciento, todo ello en el horizonte del 2011.”



    4. Cálculos.

    Según la última EPA (.xls en el INE), publicada 2 días antes de estas declaraciones, la tasa de actividad feminina es del 49.37% (varones, 69,23%), sobre una población total (quería decir) total femenina mayor de 16 años de 19.298,5 miles. Para cumplir la segunda promesa será necesario aumentar la tasa de actividad del 49.37 al 68%, es decir, un 18.63%. En el caso mejor para Rajoy, una ficción en que la población no aumentaría (opuesta a la tendencia), eso supone:


    19.298,5 miles · 0.1863 = 3.559.531 nuevas mujeres activas


    Ahora bien, mujeres activas no es lo mismo que con empleo, ya que:


    Población total = Activos + Inactivos (jubilados, estudiantes…)


    Activos = Empleados + Parados (pero sí dispuestos a trabajar)


    Es decir, ¿cuántas de estas mujeres que pasan a estar activas consiguen un trabajo? Eso nos lo debería decir la tasa de paro (parados sobre población activa). La actual tasa de paro femenino es del 11%. Si, en contra de la aspiración de Rajoy de convertir esta tasa en el 6.5%, se mantuviese en el 11%, se crearían:


    3.559.531 activas · (1-0.11) con empleo = 3.199.826 empleos de mujeres


    Si se alcanza el 8.6% actual, el resultado es de 3.286.114 mujeres empleadas. Si se llega al 6.5%, tenemos 3.361.615 mujeres empleadas más.


    Pero aún recordamos la promesa de crear 2.2 millones de empleos en la próxima legislatura, ¿verdad? Pues vamos a ver lo que hace falta para crear 3.2 millones (tomo el primer cálculo, el más bajo) de empleos de mujeres y un total de 2.2 millones de empleos totales:


    2.2e6 empleos - 3.2e6 femeninos = -1 millón de empleos masculinos.


    Es decir, hay que destruir 1 millón de empleos de hombres. Quizá se conviertan en parados, quizá pasen a la población inactiva. Curioso, cuando menos. (Actualizo) He de decir que no me parece mal que haya un traspaso de empleo de hombres a mujeres en aras de la igualdad (fin de actualización). No sé, quizá se ha equivocado y quiso decir que se crearían 3 o 4 millones de empleo en total (que suena a sobrada, pero en la actual, con todo su aumento de población y cierta disminución del paro se han creado 3 millones). Pero, de nuevo, si se destruye 1 millón de empleos masculinos, ¿cómo afecta eso a la tasa de paro? Hay una inconsistencia clara. Creo que lo voy a calcular de otra forma.



    Crear 2.2 millones de empleos y simultáneamente bajar la tasa de paro del 8.6 al 6.5% equivale a decir que la población activa aumenta. Actualmente hay 20.476,9 miles de empleados en ambos sexos y una población activa de 22.404,5 miles. Si se aumenta este número en 2.2 millones, pasamos a 22.676,9 miles. Si esto es un (100-6.5)% de la población activa, significa que la población activa pasa a 24.253,37 miles, un aumento de 1.848,9 miles. Se nos cae la condición de que no aumente la población activa: para aumentar la tasa de actividad femenina al 68% no habría que crear 3.2 millones de empleos, sino muchos más. A menos que la tasa de paro femenino se dispare: aumente la tasa de actividad sin aumentar apenas el número de empleadas. Lo que de nuevo se opone a la promesa de “convergencia de tasas de paro”. Se pueden hacer más cálculos, pero ya no tiene sentido.


    5. Comentario / Resquicios lógicos.

    Este ha sido un bonito ejemplo de cómo muchas promesas son incompatibles entre sí. He hecho lo que en principio consideré simplificaciones pero resultaron ser falseamientos necesarios para que los números cuadrasen. Si la población no aumenta, la tasa de paro no es consistente; si aumenta, la tasa de actividad no se alcanza, o se alcanza a costa de la tasa de paro masculino. (Añado) La única forma de que se cumplan las 3 es, creo, que la población activa disminuya, bien improbable.

    La clave realista está en que la tasa de actividad de mujeres no va a aumentar casi 20 puntos porcentuales en 4 años. O está en que Rajoy se refiere a la tasa de actividad entre 16 y 64 años (un 62.82% para mujeres, un 82.62% para hombres), que es un dato también facilitado por la EPA, pero no lo que se entiende universalmente por población activa.

    Otra posibilidad es que Rajoy haga una diferencia entre “2011″ y “legislatura”: habla de situar la actividad femenina en tal valor en 2011 y de crear aquel número de empleos en la legislatura (que probablemente termine en 2012). Puede que consiga lo primero y luego lo desmantele para alcanzar lo segundo. O que para eliminar 1 millón de puestos de trabajo de hombres los prejubile, elimine, emigre o dé un estupendo subsidio de desempleo. Mejor paro. Fin. Ya.



    (Actualizo) ¡Un saludo a los que provienen de Menéame ^^! Los cálculos son un poco aproximados quizá, y, como digo, no me parece mal que se ocupen menos hombres y más mujeres, pero me parecían curiosas conclusiones.

    Os comunico algunas sorpresas con las que me he encontrado últimamente.

    Empezando por el terreno nacional, hay un grupo gallego que no está nada mal. Me lo recomendaron en la Coruña en una noche hippy cuando me decanté admirador de Deluxe (al que tendremos en próximas fechas por el Purple Weekend aquí). Su nombre Heissel:

    Por casualidad (estaba buscando en la mula algo de The Dynamites porque iba a ir al concierto presentación del Purple en el Auditorio) me encontré con un grupo mejicano que canta en inglés un maravilloso indie lleno de registros. Su nombre Los Dynamite y para mí es una de las grandes sorpresas de este año:
